These requirements are important so we can have an exhilarating experience. We want to be able to cover long distances in a day and still get in to the destination each day at a reasonable time. At the end of each day, we look forward to sharing stories and unwinding to prepare for the next day.

Terrain

Our trips cover a variety of different types of terrain. We drive on groomed, hard-packed roads, sand washes, technical rocky washes, hills, desert trails and mountain ridges. Some roads and trails are rougher than others. The terrain is ever-changing, as is the landscape. So don't get too comfortable with one type of setting, as it's sure to change before you know it. As mentioned previously, we like to run our trips at a fast pace and cover lots of miles each day. Safety is always our first priority, and we encourage all of our participants to drive within their limits. The lead car will set a pace, but if you are uncomfortable with it, just fall back toward the back of the pack and find a pace that you are comfortable with. The most important things are safety and having a good time!
