Join BeFree Off-Road this April, April 26–29, 2027, for an unforgettable Pahrump, Nevada, to Lee Vining, California, UTV Adventure. This three night four days UTV Adventure combines scenic desert trails, historic ghost towns, Eastern Sierra mountain views, and comfortable hotel stays. (4 nights of hotels are covered for you, including the first night in Pahurmp, NV prior to departure) Spots are still available, and we would love to have you ride with us!
Our UTV adventure route travels from Pahrump, NV to Tonopah, into California’s Eastern Sierra, through Beatty, and back to Pahrump. A Night at Tonopah’s Legendary Mizpah Hotel
One of the highlights of this Nevada UTV tour is an overnight stay at the historic Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah, famous as one of Nevada’s most haunted hotels.
Built in 1907, the Mizpah Hotel combines the character of Nevada’s mining history with beautifully restored interiors and modern comforts. Its best-known ghost story centers on the legendary Lady in Red, who is said to wander the hotel. The Mizpah has also earned national recognition as one of America’s top haunted hotels.
Whether you enjoy Nevada history, historic hotels, or paranormal stories, this unique overnight stay adds an unforgettable element to the BeFree Off-Road UTV adventure.
Step Back in Time in Bodie, California
Our planned visit to Bodie State Historic Park takes us to one of California’s most fascinating gold-mining ghost towns.
Once a thriving boomtown, Bodie now features quiet streets, weathered buildings, and interiors filled with belongings and goods from its past. The town is preserved in a state of “arrested decay,” protecting its historic character rather than restoring it to look new.
Exploring Bodie offers a glimpse into the lives of the people who traveled west in search of gold. This historic ghost town is a must-see destination for anyone interested in California history, photography, and unique off-road travel experiences.
Take in the Beauty of Mono Lake
Another highlight of this Eastern Sierra UTV adventure is Mono Lake, an ancient saltwater lake near Lee Vining, California, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
More than a million years old, Mono Lake is known for its remarkable tufa towers—limestone formations created where freshwater springs mix with the lake’s mineral-rich water. These unusual formations rise along the shoreline and out of the water, creating an otherworldly landscape and incredible photo opportunities.
Mono Lake also provides important feeding and resting habitat for millions of birds. It is a beautiful place to pause, explore, and appreciate the changing scenery along this Nevada and California UTV Adventure.
Adventure by Day, Comfortable Stays by Night
This increadible UTV adventure includes four hotel nights, beginning with the Pahrump Nugget the night before departure. Accommodations continue at the Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah, Lee Vining or Mammoth depending on availability, and the Stagecoach Hotel in Beatty.
BeFree Off-Road coordinates lodging and meals, while lead and sweep vehicles, chase-truck support, and a mechanic accompany the group. Our support team helps make this multi-day UTV tour safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for every participant.
