We’re switching gears — and taking our rides south of the border!

While we wait to finalize our commercial permits for our Phoenix-to-Vegas route, we’re heading down to the legendary trails of Baja, Mexico — a place we’ve explored for years and fallen completely in love with and for good reason...its an off-roaders paradise!

After logging thousands of miles across Baja’s rugged terrain, we’re opening this experience to our BeFree community for the first time — a guided, fully supported UTV adventure that blends the thrill of the ride with the beauty, culture, and spirit of Baja.

Over four days and three nights, you’ll experience everything that makes Baja iconic: rocky mountain passes, wide-open desert ridges, coastal stretches, and endless miles of freedom. This isn’t a test run — it’s a proven adventure, led by a team that knows the terrain, the logistics, and the pace that makes it unforgettable.

Dates: February 20 -23, 2026

Length: 4 days / 3 nights

Price: $3,750 + tax per car (Driver + Co-Driver)

Deposit: $1,000

 The Journey

Day 1: Tecate → Mike’s Sky Ranch

The evening before our departure, we'll gather at our staging location, Sycuan Casino Resort in El Cajon. This is approximately a 50-minute drive from our destination the next morning. Please note that everyone is responsible for arranging their own accommodations for the night before we leave. We'll depart from the hotel at 6 AM to reach the parking area for our trucks and trailers near the Tecate Border crossing.

We will arrive at 7 AM to our secured parking facility on the US side of the border. From there, we’ll set off from the Tecate border and travel about 160 miles through classic Baja terrain before reaching the legendary Mike’s Sky Ranch. Expect tacos from Ramirez Tacos for lunch and a hearty steak dinner awaiting us at the ranch.

Day 2: Mike’s Sky Ranch → Mission Santa Maria

We’ll tackle roughly 100 miles of diverse terrain — mountain trails, open desert, and coastal roads. Lunch on the beach, dinner overlooking the Pacific.

Day 3: Mission Santa Maria → Horsepower Ranch

Another 140 miles of Baja at its best — fast, scenic, and unforgettable. We’ll wrap up with good food and great company at Horsepower Ranch.

Day 4: Horsepower Ranch → Tecate Border

The final 110 miles back toward Tecate — dusty, tired, and smiling from ear to ear.

 What’s Included

   •   Chase truck with bilingual driver/mechanics and local paramedic

   •   Lead and sweep vehicles

   •   Tools and spare parts for Polaris Pro R platforms (available for purchase; installation is free on trail)

*Lunch may vary depending on trail conditions — that’s the Baja way!

You’ll experience a mix of terrains — hardpack, sand washes, rocky climbs, isolated beaches and mountain ridges — with our seasoned chase crew and safety team by your side.
